PLANNING PERMISSION

Curious if you need planning permission for that gorgeous garden structure?

Well, chances are you won’t!
When it comes to planning permission, it’s more about where you live than the building itself. Most councils give the green light for garden structures under a certain height without batting an eyelid, but if you live in a listed building, flat, or some other special area, then planning permission might be on the cards.

Why do our garden offices get a (mostly) free pass on planning permission?

Well, it’s all thanks to how we design them. Our garden structures are crafted to fit within permitted development guidelines. Local councils give the thumbs-up for structures like ours – we’re talking under 2.5m externally, or a smidge taller if you can keep a bit of distance between you and the nearest dwelling.
